Stratford Motor Products Minor Midget Warriors went 2-1 this past weekend.
The Warriors got skunked 6-0 in Waterloo on Friday. On Saturday night in Hamilton, Dalton Smith's power play goal with 4 min left in the game sealed the 3-2 victory. Noah Kuno scored the other 2 goals. Tanner Johnson and Michael Cossey each had 2 assists and Brett Denny had 1 assist. On Sunday at the Allman, the Warriors cruised past Brantford 4-1. Clayton Lewis, Smith, Johnson and Cossey scored the goals. Nathan Hall and Kuno each had 2 assist with singles from Cossey, Smith, Johnson and call up Rienk Van der Ploeg. Call up tender Jermey Hill played the third and didn't allow a goal.
