The Stratford Holloway Automotive Minor Atoms went 1-2 over the week-end.
On Thursday night the team fell 2-1 to the Waterloo Wolves. Ryan Haines scored for Stratford assisted by Marek Carter and Colten Kuepfer.
On Saturday the boys faced Sarnia and lost 5-3. Brett Knechtel had one goal and one assist, while Quin Appel and Nathan Gibb notched one each. Haines, Kuepfer, and call-up Carter Petrie each earned an assist.
The team was on the road Sunday, travelling to Burlington, where they found their stride and downed the
Bulldogs 6-1. Haines led the way with 4 goals and 1 assist. Appel turned in a solid game with 1 goal and 4 assists. Beckham McLeod scored the other goal for Stratford. Andrew Leitch had two assists, while Kaleb Martin and Marek Carter each had one. Jesse Merkel made some key saves in net.
