Minor Peewee on 3 game win streak
Hiller Realty Minor Peewee Warriors headed to Hamilton Saturday
defeating the Huskies 2-1 in a hard fought battle with Nole Musselman scoring
both goals for the win. The second goal came
with minutes left in the game. Both
goals were assisted by Jacob Hall who made perfect passes to his open winger
who made no mistakes putting the puck in the net. Cole Lewis and Connor McIntosh added single
assists in the win. Isaac Deline and Sam
Bolger put a wall up on defense and James Cormier-Hazen made some beautiful
saves for the win.
Sunday the Warriors were home to the Brantford 99ers. The Warriors kept up a solid pace for the entire game and came away with a 4-2 win. Cole Lewis started it off scoring on his first shift on a pass up from Isaac Deline. Cole Hislop scored the 2nd goal of the game from Zach Mccann and Chadd Langlands capitalizing on a power play. The third goal scored as Langlands faked the goalie from behind the net wrapping it around on the open side. McCann added his second assist on this, the eventual winning goal. Nole Musselman netted the insurance goal assisted by hard skating Ethan Scrimgeour and Aubrey Carter. Porter Aitken played strong on defense making several great rushes in the game and Carter Chessell was sharp between the pipes for his second straight win in net.
