Minor Bantams Win First Two Playoff Games
The Cherrey Bus Lines Minor Bantams took the first two games of a six point series versus Kitchener on the weekend.
In game one, Jared and Cohen LeSouder each scored to lead the Warriors to a 2-1 win. Strong defensive play by Stratford kept Kitchener out of the Warriors end for most of the game. Carson Knott was solid in net when called upon.
A goal by Adam Windsor and a shutout by Hardy Westman led Stratford to a 1-0 victory in Kitchener on Sunday night in game two.
Next action for the Minor Bantam Warriors is at Dufferin arena Tuesday night at eight o'clock, as they will try to end the first round series.
