Kayden Schooley’s tying goal with 14 seconds remaining in the game gave the Stratford Canadian Tire Bantam Warriors a 2-2 tie with the Sarnia Jr. Sting Sunday afternoon at the Allman Arena in Alliance Bristol division play.
Schooley’s goal, with goaltender Carson Knott on the bench for the extra attacker, was assisted by Jared LeSouder and Noah Rusen Steele. Stratford’s first goal of the game was scored late in the first period by Callan Ferguson, with Riley Mathieson and Ben Wyatt picking up assists.
Knott was strong in net for Stratford, including a key penalty shot save that kept his team in the game late in the second period. The Warrior play the London Jr. Mustangs Wednesday night at the Allman in a battle of for first place.
