January 21/22 2017 - Weekend Wrap Up
The Stratford Canadian Tire Major Bantam Warriors were on the road for two games this past weekend, and came away with a split, beating the Kitchener Jr. Rangers 4-0 and being on the wrong side of a 2-0 score against the Woodstock Navy Vets.

Saturday night in Kitchener, Carson Knott earned the shutout and Jared LeSouder, Kayden Schooley, Connor Hill and Adam Windsor all scored in the 4-0 win over Kitchener. Cohen LeSouder and Noah Rusen Steele each had two assists with individual helpers going to Jared LeSouder, Callum McMann, and Schooley.

Stratford travelled to Woodstock Sunday, and had trouble mounting any kind of sustained attack as they were blanked by the Navy Vets, This despite dominating the play for the majority of the game. The 2-0 loss overshadowed a strong performance by Kari Dingman in goal for Stratford.

Stratford has one game remaining in the regular season, and sits atop the Bristol Division with an 11-2-2 record and 24 points, leading the second place London Mustangs who have 21 points but also four games remaining.
