Minor Midget Warriors come up empty in Kitchener
In a game that went back and forth from the opening faceoff, the Stratford Motor Products Minor Midget Warriors came up on the short end of another close game in Kitchener on Wednesday night.

Kitchener opened the scoring early in the first. Stratford responded on a beautiful passing play that included passes from Cal McMann and Eric Roes before Josiah Kraayenbrink put home the equalizer. Once again Kitchener would take the lead and once again Kraayenbrink would even the score this time off a nifty pass from Jared LeSouder. In keeping with the flow of the game, Kitchener would take the lead late midway through the second. This time Adam Windsor would redirect a pass from Ben Wyatt into the top corner of the net. As the second period was ticking down the Junior Rangers got a fortuitous bounce and again the Warriors were in chase mode. This time the Warriors would be unable to draw even giving up a goal late to lose another close one 5-3. Carson Knott settled into the game and made some key saves down the stretch to keep the game close. Stratford resumes leahue play on Sunday as they travel to play London Mustangs Purple. - D. Cassone
