Warriors Beat Brantford at Home
The Stratford Motor Products Minor Midget Warriors relied on
some solid goal tending and timely goals to defeat Brantford in Stratford on
Wednesday night.
Brantford opened the scoring before Noah Rusen-Steele deflected a shot from Alex Cassone to even the score. The teams would exchange goals in the second period carrying a 2-2 tie into the third. Tate Gaylor picked up Stratford's second goal from Rusen-Steele. Rusen-Steele would pick up his third point of the night as he set up Adam Windsor for the game winning goal. Windsor made no mistake giving Stratford the lead late.Kari Dingman would take it from there making several saves late to seel the victory. The Warriors got a strong game from Eric Roes and Connor Hill on the fore-check and Cal McMann and Riley Mathieson at the back end. Stratford takes on Waterloo on Sunday at the Allman.
