The Evoke Marketing Warriors came up short versus the first place North London Nationals, November 4.
A fluky goal off the skate of goaltender Malaika Kibedi opened the scoring early in the first frame and the Nationals kept the pressure on throughout. Kibedi made several good stops but the potent Nationals built a 6-0 lead before the Warriors were able to penetrate the Nationals defence and dent the twine late in the third. Ethan Bridges raced down the left side and found Colton Campbell out front. He made no mistake to round out the scoring in a 6-1 loss.
The Warriors will be looking for a better showing when they are back in action November 10 in Sarnia and they host the Nationals November 11 at 1 p.m. at the Allman.
