On
the weekend, the Evoke Marketing Novice Tier 1 team returned to league action
after a weekend competing in the Belle River Tournament. Earning 3 out of 4
points in a very tight division was a very big step forward.
In game one Dec 10th, in Oakridge, Warriors came out aggressive in all 3 zones and jumped to a 3-0 lead before Oakridge found their stride and clawed back to tie it at 3. However, Stratford would not give up and took the lead for good with less than 1 minute left on a friendly bounce. Goals from Adair, Schmidt, Campbell and Hishon with assists going to Erb, Hurley, Glitz and Campbell. Munro made some timely saves to complete the win.
In game 2 on Sunday, West London paid a visit to the Allman arena in a hard fought 3-3 tie. Bridges, Martin and Adair scored the goals with assists going to Bowles, Bridges and Martin with Kibedi getting the win in net. Defence from the entire team has been very good and key to a lot of our success. The team heads to North London on Saturday, and than hosts Sarnia on Sunday.
Go Warriors.
