Strong Start!!
The Stratford Warriors Major Atoms sponsored by Perth Auto Dismantlers started the 2018-2019 regular season with two wins.
On Sunday Sept 9th the Hamilton Huskies came to town, the Warriors started strong by getting a 4-0 lead after the first. They never looked back playing strong the rest of the game winning 6-1. Sunday Sept 15th the team traveled to Waterloo to face a strong Waterloo squad. It was a hard fought game for the Warriors as it was tied 2-2 after the second period. The game was still tied 2-2 with 18 seconds left on the clock when the Warriors were awarded a power play, after a nice face off win and D to D pass a shot from the point was tipped in for the winning goal. Great start for the team all the players fought hard with great goal tending from both goalies!!
