Four point Weekend!
The Stratford Warrior major atoms pick up two big wins
Good goal tending and strong team defensive play was key in earning the team two wins on the weekend. First up Sarnia came to town for an afternoon tilt. The Dismantlers started a little slow and found themselves trailing 1-0 after the first two periods. The team started using their speed in third period and scored two in a row to take the lead. Good goal tending and good defensive efforts closed out the game.
Sunday afternoon Kitchener was in town for an Alliance final re-match from last year. The Warriors fell behind early 1-0 but the team never gave up. Just before the end of the second the Warriors tied it up. The team kept up the hard work in the third and were rewarded half way through the period with a goal. And again good goal tending and strong team defensive play carried the team to victory
