Stratford Minor Hockey is currently looking for volunteers to join the Board of Directors. At the next Annual General Meeting (AGM) there will be a number of Director positions and two key Executive Director positions (Secretary and Registrar) available.
Directors are asked to attend monthly board meetings and serve on committees as needed. Collectively the board runs the association — making and executing plans for tryouts, association tournaments, player development, fundraising, etc. We encourage everyone to consider contributing so SMHA can continue to offer Stratford players hockey at the Minor Development and A/AA levels.
No board experience is necessary — just a love of hockey and the desire to support the hockey community. Those interested must be able to attend the monthly board meetings generally held the second Thursday of each month at 6:30pm.
Offers to volunteer and nominations can be made at any time; elections will be held at the AGM on Wednesday, May 30th.
