The Stratford A.J. Jackson Construction Minor Atom MD Warriors defeated the North London Nationals 2-1 on Sunday and ended the regular season with their ninth consecutive victory. The Warriors trailed North London 1-0 heading into the third period and once again proved they are a third period team. Jake Emerson tied the game up on a wrist shot with five minutes left in the third with Josh Smith picking up the assist. Austin Taylor scored a short handed goal on a rebound from a Dominic Boon shot with one minute remaining in the game to steal the win. Goalie Liam McCann made several sparkling glove saves to preserve the win. Defenseman Josh Bossence was a rock on defence in turning away numerous North London scoring attempts.
