Warrior Weekend - Pacheco Nets 1st SHUT-OUT
Danny Pacheco recorded the shutout as Stratford Dunny's Source For Sports major atom MD Warriors blanked Oakridge 5-0 Sunday.

Danny Pacheco's shutout led the Stratford Dunnys Source for Sports Atom MD Warriors to a 5-0 win over Oakridge on Sunday in Stratford. Luke McCarroll opened the scoring for Stratford as he made no mistake off a Jake Gansevles pass. Gansevles got two of his own before Sam Turner closed the scoring with two goals. Declan Rintoul picked up a couple of assists while Pacheco and his defence shut the door including a timely glove save off a breakaway. Joey Cassone and Sean Petrie played solid games on defence for the Warriors. On Saturday the atom MD Warriors took full advantage of the home ice on "Warrior Day" in Stratford defeating West London 8-3. London opened the scoring before the Warriors took the game over. Cameron Lynn opened the scoring for Stratford. Rintoul gave Stratford the lead for good from Sam Wyatt. Turner followed with a beauty off a tremendous pass from McCarroll while Rintoul picked up the other assist. Liam Taylor padded the Warrior lead on a solo effort. Jordan Tessmer cashed in by getting the puck to the net off a Brayden Carnegie pass. Gansevles broke in off the left side to score on a nifty deke while Turner netted his second and Dawson Zorgdrager rounded out the scoring for Stratford on a great passing play from Wyatt and Jacob Taylor. Quinn LeSouder played a strong game in net making several key saves keeping the momentum in Stratford's favor.
