Stratford Crabby Joe’s played against the London’s Orange Bandits Wednesday night in an away game. Ryan Stelmachuk and Cody Heinbuch played hard for the defence and Owen Chapman worked hard in net trying to keep the goals out. In a very aggressive game Stratford suffered a loss with a score of 3 -2. The two goals were scored in the third period by Cody Heinbuch and Matt Kahnke. Assists were received by John Erb, Andrew Rae, Ryan Stelmachuk and Cody Heinbuch.
Stratford Crabby Joe’s played against Sarnia Monday night in an away game. Ryan Van Dam and Owen Chapman tried hard to keep Stratford Crabby Joe’s in the game. Trevor Smith and Brayden Bach tried their best to keep the players motivated. Stratford lost 5 – 1. The single goal was scored by Jacob Hawley which was assisted by Jason Kipfer and Brayden Bach.
Stratford Crabby Joe’s played against Oakridge in a home game Tuesday night. All the players seemed to have picked up the pace for this game. The excellent defence and aggressive forwards helped things along nicely. Stratford Crabby Joe’s won the game 4-0. Owen Chapman received his second shut out. Goals were scored by Cody Heinbuch, Andrew Rae, Matt Kahnke and Mitchell McFadden, assists went to Mitchell McFadden, Casey Champion, Josh Otto and Jason Kipfer. So far, this was the best played game of the season for Stratford Crabby Joe’s.
