Playoffs Continue - West London & Oakridge
Stratford Motor Products Minor Midget MD Warriors continued their round robin playoffs with three games this past week.  On Wednesday the team was missing 4 key players and went down to defeat by a 3-0 score to West London.  On Thursday, the team again met West London and with a full line up, turned the tables with a solid 3-0 victory.  The team showed great discipline in staying out of the penalty box.  Jesse Way opened the scoring, following a great fore-checking effort, with assists going to Jamie Wells and Matt Parkinson.  John Yundt and Josiah Zein also scored with Jeff Wood assisting on both goals.  Spencer Marsh was tremendous in goal to earn the shutout. 

On Saturday, the team travelled to Oakridge and beat the Aeros, by a 6-2 margin, with another disciplined team effort.  Defensemen Cam Carruthers and Dean Zorgdrager opened the scoring.  The line of Ben Champion, Hayden Bulbrook and John Yundt was dominate all night in the offensive zone.  Yundt scored once and added 2 assists while Champion added a goal and assist and Bulbrook notched 2 assists.  Braden Varga and Wells rounded out the scoring with Brandon Morrow and Way adding assists.  Scott Wood made several critical saves to shut down the Oakridge attack.
