Coming
off a very strong showing at the Stratford Silver Stick tournament, the Minor
Atoms rang in the New Year with a 7-2 win over the Kitchener Junior Rangers at
home on Tuesday evening.
Ryan Bell played one of his best between the pipes, making some great saves throughout the contest. Great puck movement was the key to success, as evident by eleven Warriors tallying at least one point each in a solid group effort. Goal scorers included: Adam Windsor(2), Scott Thornton, Aly McLeod, Jared LeSouder, Mitchell LaFay, and Adam Monteith. Assists went to: Callan Ferguson(3), Kaden Eybergen, Matthew Whittemore, Tyler Pogson, Cohen LeSouder, Jared LeSouder and Mitch LaFay. Alex Cassone and Bryce Lee were fearless on the point and back-up goalie Hardy Westman cheered on his team from the bench.
