Holloway Auto Warriors Take the Sting Out of Sarnia
Sarnia visited Stratford on Saturday and were handed a 6-1 defeat. Sarnia played a couple of strong periods before Stratford pulled away in the third. Scott Thornton got Stratford on the board late in the first, with assists going to Kaden Eybergen and call-up Alex Dingwell. In the second, Eybergen put one past the Sarnia netminder with Dingwell notching his second assist. Aly McLeod also scored in the second off an Adam Windsor feed. The third period was all Warriors, as Jared LeSouder scored two, both assisted by Adam Monteith. Call-up Tyler Guy made an impression, as he assisted on one of LeSouders before potting one of his own, assisted by McLeod and Windsor. Hardy Westman was sharp in net and the defensive unit kept the puck out of harms way.
