Minor PeeWees Close First Half with Strong Win in Woodstock
The Stratford Hiller Realty Minor PeeWees closed out the first half of
their season Saturday in Woodstock with a 5-1 victory over the Jr Navy
Vets. Stratford improved their record to 6-0-1 since splitting
divisions, and has been playing consistent hockey of late.

Josh McNaughton opened the scoring for the Warriors on an unassisted
rush with a great finish over the goaltenders glove. Other goal scorers
in the game were Sam Davey, Sean Chisholm, Michael Messerschmidt, and
Eric Gibb, with single assists by Messerschmidt, Chisholm, Partridge and
McNaughton. Mitch Watt was solid in goal for the Warriors all game long.
Stratford looks to build off of the strong play lately as they prepare
to host their Christmas tournament over the holidays.
