The Stratford Hiller Realty Minor PeeWee Warriors played St. Thomas Friday night losing a close hockey game 2-0.
The Warriors opened the game looking like a determined team as they got pucks in deep, for-checked hard, and created turnovers in the oppositions end. Ultimately fatigue played a role as the Warriors were down two men and lost some energy on the big ice. The stars stuck to their game plan and came away with the victory. Tyler Parr was good in net for the Warriors - stopping a penalty shot in the second period, but Stratford wasn’t able to beat the goaltender at the other end of the rink. The Warriors play back to back games this weekend before closing out the regular season in Burlington the following weekend
