The Scotiabank Major Peewee Rep Warriors began the New Year with three straight victories.
Against North London, a goal from Tyreese Harrison was all the offence the Warriors would need as Ryan Lay shut out the Nationals for a 1-0 victory. Justin Beuermann and Clayton Lewis collected assists. Facing the St. Thomas Stars,Stratford scored two power play goals en route to a 4-2 win. Nathan Hall scored twice, with singles to Michael Cossey and Scott Chisholm. Assists went to Sean Chisholm (2), Isaiah Duiker (2), Ewen Flanagan, Minkyu Yang, Cossey and Lewis. Justin Hergott’s glove was tested often in net. In Sarnia, the Warriors power play proved to be effective once again as they scored four times with the man advantage to defeat the Jr. Sting 4-1. Goal scorers were Duiker (2), Hall and Yang. Notching assists were Brody Hunt, Jarrett Baker, Bradley Kraemer, Flanagan and Beuermann. Lay picked up the win in net.
