Best Western The Parlour Historic Inn and Suites PeeWee MD's Face Busiest Week of the Year
After an extremely busy run of 3 games over 3 nights, the Best Western The Parlour Historic Inn and Suites PeeWee MD Warrior's saw their regular season record run to 7 wins, 2 ties and 2 losses, good enough to remain in 1st in the Division. Back to back wins over the Oakridge Aero's (7-5) and North London (3-0), were followed by a heart-breaking loss (2-1) to London Bandits Orange. The team's next game is against Sarnia on Saturday. Monday, November 7th @ Oakridge Aeros

Stratford’s Best Western The Parlour Historic Inn and Suites Major Peewee MD’s won a hard fought victory over the Oakridge Aeros in a game that many described as an emotional rollercoaster.  The team found themselves trailing 2-0 after the first period.  They fought back with goals from Jacob Ney with the assist going to Cole McKay and another one from Peter Williams with assists going to Jacob McPherson and call up Riley Higgins.  Oakridge then shocked the Stratford team by scoring three more goals in the second period within one minute.  The team rallied back in the third with another goal from Peter Williams with assist going to Steven Tuer.  Another goal came a minute later from Nathan Ferguson with another assist going to Cole McKay.  McKay scored in the next minute with Jacob McPherson collecting the assist.  They continued their rapid fire of goals with another from Chase Windsor assist going to Connor Franke and his second of the night from Nathan Ferguson with the assist going to Carson Dunseith.  The team scored five goals in just over 3 minutes in the third period to collect the win.  The team’s next game is Tuesday night against North London.

Tuesday, November 8th @ North London

Jacob Ford  collected a shut out in a penalty filled game against North London on Tuesday night in London.  The Best Western The Parlour Historic Inn and Suites Peewee MD team had a tough fight on their hands but came out on top with a score of 3-0.  The play went back and forth with many close calls till Jacob McPherson opened the scoring in the second period with Liam Westman collecting the assist.  There were many close calls but no more goals till the third period when Nathan Ferguson scored an unassisted goal.  Anthony Gioa had the last goal of the night with a pass from Steven Tuer and Liam Westman.  The team put out a strong effort with lots of fore checking.  Jack Ratz and Sean Dolan played great defensive games.

Wednesday, November 9th vs. London Bandits Orange

Wednesday night saw the Warriors play their third game in three nights against the London Bandits Orange.  The team lost this one 2-1.  It was a tough loss with the winning goal being scored in the dying seconds of the third period.  Everyone put out a great effort, especially Jeremy Wickenheiser in goal, stopping many opportunities including a break away in the third period.  Stratford’s only goal was scored by Carson Dunseith unassisted.  The teams record stands at 7-2-2 and they are currently in first place.

Wednesday, October 26th @ London Bandits Black

Stratford’s Best Western The Parlour Historic Inn and Suites Major Peewee MD played a hard fought battle against London Bandits Black on Wednesday night and came away with a 1-1 tie.  The Bandits scored in the first period and the Warriors tied it up in the second with a goal from Anthony Gioia with assists going to Cole McKay and call up Brayden Carnegie.  Despite many hard fought battles around the net at both ends, the score remained tied.  Jacob Ford was solid in net and Noah Patton was strong on defence.
