Already short one skater to start the game, the Best Western The Parlour Historic Inn and Suites PeeWee MD's saw 2 other players ejected from the game in a very frustrating tilt against the Sarnia Jr. Sting. Notwithstanding the up-hill battle, the team kept their composure, skating away with a convincing 5-1 victory.
Stratford’s Best Western The Parlour Historic Inn and Suites Major Peewee MD’s played in Sarnia Saturday afternoon. Stratford opened the scoring in the first period with three goals from Chase Windsor, Jacob McPherson and Anthony Gioia. Owen Brooks earned assists on two of those goals. Chase Windsor scored his second goal in the second period with assists to Gioia and Sean Dolan. Jack Ratz, stepping in to play forward, earned his first goal as a Warrior in the third with the assist going to Peter Williams. Sarnia scored their only goal while on a 5 minute penalty, resulting in the final score of 5-1.
The defensive team of Owen Brooks, Noah Patton, Sean Dolan, Jacob Ney, and Steven Tuer did a great job of checking the Sarnia team throughout many challenges in the game and helped goaltender Jacob Ford hold them to only one goal against!
