Minor Bantams collect 5 points
The Stratford Cherrey Bus Lines Minor Bantams collected 5 of a possible 6 points in their previous 3 games. Stratford tied the London bandits 2-2. Riley Walsh and Colton Fountain each scored for Stratford while Shaun Pickering, James Wilson, Devon Feltz and Spencer Dowd contributed assists. Braydon McCann turned aside 23 shots to preserve the tie. Call up Trey Uniac provided strong forechecking all game.
Stratford then defeated West London 3-0. Ben Merkel stopped 18 shots to earn the shut out. Scoring for Stratford were Dalton Carde, Jarett Bogdon and Fountain. Mack Rankin, Luke Goris, Dowd, Pickering and call up Parker Wamboldt each collected an assist. Stratford played one of their strongest of the year as they defeated the visiting Kitchener Rangers 5-3. Stratford spread the scoring out as Bogdon, Walsh, Jarren Ball, Carde and Fountain each scored while Andy brickman and Pickering each added 2 assists. Tim Clay, Feltz, Bogdon and Ball had one assist.
McCann once again provided solid goaltending earning the victory as he stopped 20 Rangers shots. Goris, Rankin and Wilson were very strong on the penalty kill.
