Ben Merkel stopped all 20 shots he faced and earned the shut out as the Stratford Cherrey Bus Lines Minor Bantams defeated visiting West London 3-0. Jarrett Bogdons power play goal late in the 2nd period proved to be the winner.
Colton Fountain and Andy Brickman each assisted. Fountain then scored 2 third period goals to solidify the win. Bogdon, Spencer Dowd, Kelton Frey and call up Parker Wamboldt each collected an assist.
