Minor Bantams finish regular season tied for first
The Stratford Cherrey Bus Lines Minor Bantams finished off their Alliance regular season with a 4-2 win over Waterloo. Dalton Carde scored a pair of goals, Tim Clay and Shaun Pickering picked up assists. Braydon McCann turned many Waterloo shots aside to earn the victory in net.

With that win, Stratford finished in a tie for first place with Kitchener. As Kitchener beat Stratford in head to head play, Stratford faces 7th place West London in a best 3 out of 5 series. Game 1 saw Stratford dominate in a convincing 12-0 win. Colton Fountain and Clay each potted hat tricks while singles markers went to Kelton Frey, Mack Rankin, Spencer Dowd, Luke Goris, Carde and Pickering. James Wilson collected 3 assists, Andy Brickman, Riley Walsh and Carde, 2 each, while Devon Feltz, Jarett Bogdon, Goris and Rankin each earned assists. Ben Merkel turned aside all shots faced to earn the shut out.
 In Game 2, Braydon McCann had to be sharp as he stopped 21 of 23 shots faced helping Stratford to a 5-2 win. Fountain, Jarren Ball, Clay, Pickering and Goris scored while Carde and Pickering drew 2 assists each and Bogdon, Fountain and Ball each assisted. The line of Clay, Rankin and Wilson pressured West London all game long. Game 3 is in Stratford Tuesday, 8pm at Dufferin Arena.
