Warriors & Bandits Remain Deadlocked
Stratford Crabby Joe’s Minor Bantam MD Warriors put forth a solid team effort to tie a strong London Bandit team 1-1 on Tuesday night.  The Warriors controlled much of the play throughout the game and out-shot the Bandits by a 3-1 margin.  However, after giving up an early goal that was tipped in from the point, they found themselves down most of the game and unable to beat a very solid Bandit’s goaltender.  The forward combination of Blake Keen and Wesley Keutsch played one of their best games of the season and had several dangerous scoring chances.

With time running down and only 3 minutes left in the game, the line of Parker Wamboldt, Trey Uniac and James Drake stormed into the Bandit zone with a pretty three way passing play.  Uniac finished the rush with a bullet wrist shot off the post and into the net to tie the game.  Wamboldt and Drake both had assists on the goal.  Noah Redfern-Lount then stymied the Bandits on a couple of solid chances to preserve the tie.  Matthieu Carman and Eric Brubacher had strong games and made several good defensive plays.
