Warriors get 2nd Shutout this week
Stratford Crabby Joes Minor Bantam MD played host to the West London Hawks Tuesday night at the Molson Arena.  Fresh off a win the previous night in London, the Warriors were looking to maintain their momentum in the hunt for first in the division.  The Warriors wasted little time in opening the scoring with a quick goal by Nicholas Ruttan on a nice feed from Blake Keen in the first 2 minutes of the game.  All three of Stratford's lines were firing on all cylinders when just four minutes later, Leam Hughes beat the Hawks goalie, due to a hard fought play on the boards by Kalyb Mccomb to get the puck to Wes Keutsch, who fed Hughes, to put Stratford up by two.

Although Stratford's powerplay didn't seem to be clicking in the second period, their penalty kill was and with solid goaltending by Noah Redferm-Lount, the score remained 2-0 for Stratford going into the third. Stratford began the third a little on their heals but rebounded near the end of the period when Parker Wamboldt scored a goal with only 53 seconds remaining. The Warriors registered their second straight shut out victory with a 3-0 win over the Hawks.
