Warrior win slips away in second half
On Jan. 9th the Stratford Crabby Joes Minor Bantam MD Warriors travelled to London to face the second place Bandits Black. With a very tight race for the top 4 teams, every win is important. The Warriors brought high intensity in the first period pressuring the Bandits early.  At the 5:45 marker of the first period, captain Blake Keen beat the Bandits goalie on a nice feed from Parker Wamboldt and a smart play by veteran defenceman Evan Roulston. The Warrior's momentum continued and the Bandits seemed caught off guard by Stratford's play as Wesley Keutsch scored after a missed penalty shot with another feed from Wamboldt.

Stratford looked as though they were firing on all cylinders until halfway through the second period when they got into penalty trouble. London wasted no time tying up the match at 2-2 at the end of the second period. Stratford attempted to regroup in the third, scoring early as Keen potted his second goal from Keutsch and Trey Uniac, but only a minute later London responded with a goal. Although Trey Uniac scored shortly after this, it seemed to spark the Bandits into action as they scored four more goals to push by Stratford with a final score of 7-4 for London.
