Waterloo sweeps Stratford in 3
Stratford Motor Products Minor Midgets season came to an end on Saturday night by losing 4-3 in overtime. The Waterloo wolves scored at the 3:12 mark of overtime to win the Bristol "A" series and sweep the Warriors 3 games straight. Stratford had goals from Jack Rankin, Joe Gioia and Ryan Ridley, with assists going to Greg Swan, Curtis Baker and Joe Gioia on Rankin's tying goal. The Warriors outshot Waterloo 31-21. Stratford's netminder Drew Schoonderwoerd and Waterloo's goaltender Liam Akins, both kept their teams in the contest all the way.
