The Stratford Royal LePage Hiller Realty Minor PeeWee Warriors defeated the London Bandits 3-1 on Saturday. The Warriors were slow starting and fell behind 1-0 late in the first period. Warrior goaltender Spencer Lazarevich kept the Bandits from widening the lead with several sparkling saves until the Warrior offense could start rolling. Tyler Lingard tied the game up midway through the second period on a deflection from a point shot by defenseman Brendan Moorehead with Jared Searles also assisting. Minor PeeWee MD call up Ryan Lott took things into his own hands and scored two unassisted goals in the last twenty five seconds in the second period to give Stratford a 3-1 lead. There was no scoring in the third period with the Warrior team defense shutting down London and picking up the win.
