The Stratford Royal LePage Hiller Realty Minor PeeWee Warriors defeated the West London Hawks 5-0 on Thursday night in convincing style with a solid team effort and that ended their quarter final series off six points to one. The Warriors allowed only one goal in the four games of the series and now move onto the semi finals. Goaltender Liam McCann came up big when called upon to pick up the shutout. Everett Hawkins opened up the scoring on a long wrist shot with Curtis Eidt assisting. The Warriors opened up a two goal lead when Tyler Lingard found the back of the net with assists by David Shantz and Dominic Boon. Trent Zorgdrager rifled home the third goal on a breakaway on a nice feed from Dylan Hall and Hawkins.
