The Stratford Royal LePage Hiller Realty Minor PeeWee Warriors finished a busy 3 game weekend with 2 wins and a tie. The Warriors regular season unbeaten streak now sits at 16 games. On Sunday the Warriors travelled to Oakridge and skated away with a 7-2 win. Dominic Boon picked up the hatrick, Trent Zorgdrager netted 2 goals and Dylan Hall and Jared Searles chipped in with one goal each. Carter Lewis picked up 3 assists, Hayden Arms with 2 assists and Tyler Lingard, Connor Otto, Rhys Britton, Charlie Rankin and Hall adding one each. Liam McCann picked up the win in net. On Saturday the Warriors played host to the Sarnia Jr. Sting and exploded for an 8-0 victory. Trent Zorgdrager and Dominic Boon scored a pair of goals each with David Shantz, Jared Searles, Tyler Lingard and Connor Otto scoring single markers. Searles, Lingard, Everett Hawkins, Dylan Hall, Hayden Arms and Griffin St. Onge added a pair of assists each. Goaltender Spencer Lazarevich played well in the Warrior win.
On Friday night the Warriors played to a 1-1 tie in St. Thomas. The game was scoreless heading into the second period until left winger Hayden Arms jammed the crease and allowing Dylan Hall to slide the puck past the St. Thomas goaltender. St. Thomas tied the game up 2 minutes later and then Warrior goaltender Liam McCann took charge in making several timely saves for the rest of the game to preserve the tie.
