The Stratford Nes-Tech Warriors played two games over the weekend in Minor Peewee MD playoff play and came away with a win and a loss.

Monday night, Stratford travelled to London to face the Bandits and came away with a convincing 5-1 win.  Kolton Debus opened the scoring with a shot just under the crossbar, on a perfect feed from Ethan Reid.  Then with the score tied at one, Austin Taylor made no mistake on a penalty shot, with a pretty deke that the Bandit netminder had no chance on.  Andrew Ivey made it 3-1 on a goal with once second left in the second period.  Caelen Eveleigh and Ryan Lott rounded out the scoring in the final frame with Lott's being an empty netter from opposite end ice.  Ivey and Mac Starkebaum had assists in the win and Kobe Robinson was strong on defence.

Saturday, the Warriors were not as fortunate and were downed 4-0 by the London Nationals.  Stratford is now 2-1-1 in the 10 round robin playoff.
