The Cherrey Bus Lines Minor Bantam Warriors dropped a pair of games to the Sarnia Sting on the weekend leaving their best of 7 series tied at 2 games each.
Facing a Sarnia squad that has been prepared to play and appear to be doing what is required to win a championship the Warriors can't afford continued complacency.
Stratford started and finished poorly on Saturday falling behind early and staying there as they lost 4-1. Nathan Hall scored from Clayton Lewis and Dalton Smith for the Warriors only marker.
Sunday had the Warriors jump to an early 1-0 lead as Justin Beuermann converted a feed from Dillon Weinheimer. Unfortunately that was all the scoring for the Warriors as Stratford did not put the Sting away and then allowed Sarnia to score two unanswered goals dropping the game with a final result of 2-1.
The series continues Tuesday in Stratford.
