GAME REPORT March 9 and 10, 2013
The Stratford Cherrey Bus lines Minor Bantam Warriors put the finishing touches on the Kitchener Rangers with a 3-3 tie and 5-0 victory to win the series 7 to 3.
In the 3-3 tie with Jarrett Baker scored twice and Nathan Hall once. Joe Yundt had two assists while Clayton Lewis, Dalton Smith, Evan Moorehead and Bradley Kraemer added one each.
The series ending game five was am extremely physical affair that threatened to get totally out of control with the Warriors coming out on top in the penalty filled battle. Lewis scored twice with Kraemer, Baker and Scott Chisholm adding one each. Moorehead had two assists while Ewen Flanagan, Yundt, Smith, Lewis, Dillon Weinheimer and Hall added singles. Baily Paquette earned the shutout.
Paquette and Jacob Ford provided outstanding goaltending throughout the series.
