GAME REPORT March 2, 3 and 6, 2013
The Cherrey Bus Lines Minor Bantam Warriors took a 2-1 semi final series lead against the Kitchener Rangers in games this past week.

Game 1 saw the Warriors roll to a  strong 6-2 victory. Joe Yundt had 2 goals and an assist to lead the way while Ewen Flanagan added 1 goal and one assist. Bradley Kraemer, Tyreese Harrison and Jarrett Baker each scored once with assists going to Dillon Weinheimer, Clayton Lewis, Evan Moorehead, Michael Cossey, Hunter James and Jacob MacPherson. Baily Paquette was outstanding in goal for the Warriors.

In game 2, some questionable calls and a team not playing playoff hockey, showed on the scoreboard as they dropped a 1-0 loss to the Rangers. Goaltender Jacob Ford had a strong game to give the team a chance but it was not to be.

Game 3 seemed to be more of the same as the team found itself down early and struggling against a more confident and ambitious Ranger squad. Goaltender Paquette had to make several great stops to keep things tight going into the third before Stratford opened up and scored three times to win 3-2. Dalton Smith scored two goals and Baker added one. Yundt had two assists and Nathan Hall added one to round out the scoring.

The series continues on Saturday in Kitchener.
