Kelly fires winner as Warriors even the series
Stratford Motor Products Minor Midgets evened the series to 5 points each with a 3-2 win over the London Jr. Knights at the Allman Arena Sunday night. Brady Lauze opened the scoring with a power play goal assisted by Zac Housworth. Liam Kelly had a goal at 6:51 of the third which would stand up to be the winner. Kelly also had an assist on Josh Hill's goal that came in the second period. Owen McLeod and Josh Erb picked up an assist each. The Knight's outshot Stratford 32-28 and once again both goaltenders, West for Stratford and Town for London showed their mettle by holding the scoring to a minimum. The final game in this series goes Tuesday night in London, 8:15 p.m. at the Western Fair Arena.
