Hill's hat trick leads the Warriors to a 4-2 win and even the series.
Stratford Motor Products Minor Midgets evened their semi-final series with a 4-2 win over the Waterloo Wolves. The Warriors scored 4 goals in the first period led by Josh Hill with 3 and Evan Metelski adding the fourth. Liam Kelly and Nicholas Strangway picked up 2 assists each and Randy Wouters added one assist. Waterloo replied in the final minute of the first period and then added one more in the third but the Tribe walked away with the win to even the series at one game each. Owen West kicked out 31 shots and held off Waterloo while the Warriors served 11 minor penalties in the game. Stratford had 26 shots on Waterloo's Blake Jensen who stood solid in the final two periods. Next game is scheduled in Waterloo, Wednesday night.
