Warriors Open Season With A Tie
The Stratford Bantam MD Warriors kicked off their regular season on Warrior Day at the Rotary Complex. The Warriors battled to a hard fought 3-3 tie against the London Bandits Black. After London opened the scoring, rookie Teddy Gough scored his first regular season goal as a Warrior. James Drake and Wes Keutsch scored the other goals for the Warriors. Evan Roulston had a strong game defensively, while also contributing to the offense with two assists. MacCauley Ross also picked up an assist. Goaltender Xavier Rutherford had to make several excellent saves to keep the game close.
