Warriors Lose Tough Decisions
The Stratford Warriors played three games in a span of a week, facing the North London Nationals, Sarnia Sting and the West London NorthWest Nationals. The Warriors played hard in all three games, but couldn't seem to sneak out a win. In all three games, the Warriors were led by strong goaltending, and were on the receiving end of some bad luck.

In the first game against the North London Nationals, the Warriors came out flying. They were led by an early goal  by James Drake, on a nice assist from Nicholas Ruttan. Xavier Rutherford made several difficult saves when the Warriors were under attack. The Warriors played hard for two periods, but ran out of gas late in the third, and allowed a couple of late goals. The Warriors ended up losing the game 6-1, but the score of the game did not reflect the actual play of the game.

In their first road game of the season, the Warriors travelled to Sarnia to face a tough Sting team. Starting goaltender Xavier Rutherford came to play, making many tough saves early on in the game. With Xavier keeping them in it, the Warriors tried to spark their offense, but the Sarnia goaltender was also making some big plays. Adam Skinner had a great game offensively, using his speed to create havoc for the Sarnia defencemen. With the two goaltenders battling it out, Sarnia managed to sneak a few goals by Rutherford. The Sting won the game 3-0, and also handing Stratford their second staright defeat.

In the final game of the week, the Warriors played host to the West London NorthWest Nationals. The Warriors were led by the two goals of Wes Keutsch, with James Drake and Matthew Carmen picking up assists. Call-up Carson Dunseith led the Warriors offense, delivering several big hits and plays. Two more call-ups Jacob Ney and Megan Jesse also played good games for the Warriors, with Ney playing defense, and Jesse between the pipes for Stratford. The Warriors fell victim to some bad luck, with James Drake hitting two goals posts  on two different shifts. The bad luck continued, as the Nationals scored a couple of quick goals, to win the game 3-2. The Warriors have a chance for some revenge however, as they travel to London to face these Nationals on the road October 25.
