Warriors Defeat Waterloo -Parents Win at Practice (Photo added)
The Hishons Custom Tier 1 Warriors defeated the Waterloo Timberwolves 3 to 1 Saturday morning. After falling behind 1 to 0 Jonas Schmidt tied the game on a pass from Owen Holloway. The game looked to be headed for a tie when Cole Meadows scored with 1:11 on the clock assisted by Tyson Talsma and Ethan Martin. Waterloo pulled their goalie but to no avail. Kaden Brame got an empty netter with only 1 second remaining assisted by Daniel Van Straaten. The fans were very impressed by the team work and heads up passing displayed by the team.

At the Friday evening practice, 9 of the Warrior Dads defeated the kids 6 to 3. Taking advantage of a league rules loophole the dads bolstered their suspect defense with a goalie trade. Then, despite the clearly biased  refereeing the Dads managed to score 6 goals and hold on despite failing legs and arms for the win. When asked for a rematch the Dads declined.
