Warriors Down Oakridge
Stratford Royal Lepage Hiller Realty minor peewees bounced back from their loss in Brantford when they rolled into London Saturday and beat Oakridge 6-3.

After giving up the first goal, Kaden Eybergen got the Warriors rolling going to the net and potting a rebound off a Tyler Pogson point shot after Noah Rusen-Steele won the face off deep in the Oakridge zone.  Rusen-Steele then found a loose puck in front of the Aeros net and banged it home assisted by Eybergen and Mason Petrie who were strong in front of the net.  Jared Lesouder scored the third goal when he took a feed from Callum McMann and Adam Montieth and sifted past the defender and fired a low wrist shot home.

The Warriors then blew the game open scoring two power play goals; the first by Petrie who was strong in the slot assisted by Rusen-Steele and Pogson, followed by McMann who blasted a slap shot in off the post after a nice feed from Rusen-Steele on the half wall and Adam Windsor.  After giving up two quick goals on a brief let down, Josh Dowling calmy took a cross ice feed from Bryce Lee and slide the puck into the empty net to close out the scoring.
Cohen Lesouder and Alex Cassone stood tall on defense in front of Ryan Bell who made some key saves in the victory.
