Warriors earn a point on the road
Stratford Royal Lepage Hiller Realty Minor Peewee Warriors travelled to Hamilton and earned a hard fought point with a 2-2 tie.  The 8 point series is now deadlocked at three points each.

Jared Lesouder opened the scoring five minutes into the game busting down the right wing and cutting in hard before roofing a quick shot. But the Huskies replied with 32 seconds remaining in the first period capitalizing on a Stratford defensive zone break down.  The second period was scoreless.

On a powerplay early in the third period, Mitch LaFay fed Callum McMann at the point who fired a low shot that produced a juicy rebound for Lesouder who buried his second of the night. But with 7:17 remaining in the third, the Warriors took a four minute head checking penalty which the Huskies scored on in the first two minutes. The Warriors dug in and killed the final two minutes short handed battling hard in front of goalie Carson Knott who robbed a Husky forward twice to preserve the tie. The Warriors narrowly missed 2 glorious opportunities to win in the overtime but will settle for a well earned point.

Action resumes Wednesday evening at Molson arena.
