Warriors vs. Bandits Orange
The Stratford Nes-Tech Warriors travelled to London Saturday evening to face the league leading London Bandits Orange, and despite a strong start, ended up on the losing side of a 5-1 hockey game.
Down 2-0 early , Stratford got a goal from Scotty Thornton to pull the Warriors back to within one, but then ran into penalty trouble causing them to play shorthanded for most of the remainder of the game. Only strong goaltending by Cieran Diebolt and the hard work of the Warrior penalty killers prevented the score from being worse. Next action for Stratford is Saturday afternoon when they travel to London to face the Hawks.
