Warriors Winless Streak Stretched to Four
The Stratford Nes-Tech Warriors travelled to North London on Saturday and ended up on the losing end of an 8-2 score.
The Nationals had the Warriors on their heels right from the start of the game and led 4-0 early before Tyson Jurchuk scored to bring Stratford within three before the end of the first period. The second period saw the Warriors get into some penalty trouble, and London responded with three power play goals to push the score to 7-1 and out of reach for the visitors. Garrett Culliton buried a rebound late in the third for Stratford to close out the scoring. Special mention to the defensive duo of Keegan McArthur and Brady Roth for their penalty killing efforts. The Stratford record fell to 0-3-1 with their next action a return visit from the North London Nationals on Tuesday evening at the Rotary Complex Molson Arena.
