Strong Defensive Effort
The Stratford Nes-Tech Warriors travelled to Sarnia on Saturday, and despite a solid effort came out on the losing end of a 3-1 score.
The Warriors outshot the Sting by a 22-17 margin, however, the stingy Sarnia defence continually forced Stratford to shoot from the perimeter and only Matthew Whitemore was able to beat the strong Sarnia netminder. The Warriors got a strong defensive effort from Keegan McArthur, Brady Roth and Riley Mathieson and the line of Tyson Jurchuk, Connor Hill and Ben Wyatt continually had the Sarnia defense on their heels. Next action for Stratford is on Wednesday when they travel to London to face the West London Hawks.
