Three Game Summary
The Stratford Holloway Automotive Minor Atom 'AA' Warriors competed in three games this past week vs London Jr. Knights White, Burlington Bulldogs Red, and the Woodstock Jr. Navy Vets.

Last Tuesday, the Warriors visited the undefeated Jr. Knights and played a very hard fought game against the home team. Although the final score ended up 2-1 in favour of the Jr. Knights, the Warrior players competed hard all game and showed a strong commitment to team defense. Goalie Liam Parsons turned in a solid performance, making several key saves along the way. Defensemen Luke Zorgdrager, Haden Frayne, Ryan Middegaal, Colton Gibson, Thomas Sheldon, and Sam Jeffrey turned in a steady game in all three zones of the ice.

On Saturday, the Warriors traveled to Burlington for an afternoon match-up against a team they recently tied 4-4 with a buzzer beating goal. This time around, however, the Bulldogs opened the scoring and never looked back, finishing the Warriors off with a lopsided 8-1 victory.

On Sunday, the Warriors welcomed the Woodstock Jr. Navy Vets to Stratford for their third match of the season with a 4-4 tie and a 2-1 Woodstock win prior to this game. The Warriors held leads throughout the contest, but the Jr. Navy Vets found ways to stay close every time the Warriors scored. The game ended in another 4-4 for these two teams. The forward line of Jonas Schmidt, Jared Gould, and Dan Van Straaten led the offensive attack, while Cole Meadows, Avery Thurston and Wes Duiker used their linemates well in the offensive zone with well-timed puck cycling.
