Peewee Warriors Sweep Sarnia!
After earning a game one win, the Stratford Scotia Bank Major Peewee Warriors completed the sweep with an 8-2 win on Saturday in Sarnia followed by a 7-2 rout in Stratford on Sunday.
Jared LeSouder led the way in Sarnia with 2 goals. Single markers went to Callum McMann, Ben Wyatt, Kaden Eybergen, Adam Windsor, Riley Mathieson, and Noah Rusen-Steele. Adam Monteith and Cohen LeSouder applied consistent pressure off the forecheck while Alex Cassone and Bryce Lee had strong games defensively. Rusen-Steele turned in a three goal performance on Sunday leading the Warrior offence. Wyatt, Ray Horan, Mathieson and McMann rounded out the scoring on Sunday. Tyler Pogson and Eric Gettler were solid at the back end while goal tending tandem of Ryan Bell and Carson Knott made several key saves throughout the weekend.
